01What the terms are
| term | what it sets |
|---|---|
| curve fee | the rate each trade pays while the coin is on its curve |
| pool fee | the rate each trade pays after graduation |
| split | the protocol, creator and pool shares of each fee, and the call slice as a share of the protocol's part |
| supply | total supply and decimals |
| curve | virtual SOL, virtual tokens and the tokens for sale |
| calls | the shortest and longest horizon, and the scoring window |
02Written once, at creation
The config is the template for coins not created yet. Creating a coin copies it into the coin's own market account.
The create request carries the config version the creator previewed. If the config changed in between, creation is refused and the app refreshes the preview, so the terms you read are the terms written in.
03Nothing changes them
No instruction rewrites a live coin's terms. Updating the config shapes only coins created after the update, so a change can't be aimed at anyone already holding a coin. Pausing creation stops new coins only; live coins keep trading.
04What the admin key reaches
- config
- the terms of future coins; pausing and resuming creation
- live coins
- no instruction reaches their market, fees or funds
- creators
- can't be reassigned
- protocol fees
- accrue to the program address seeded
protocol, which has no withdrawal instruction
05Where to read them
- coin page
- the Terms tab, read from the coin's own account
- create screen
- Locked in for life, read from the config the coin will copy
- API
GET /v1/coins/:mintreturnsfeesandimmutableTerms;GET /v1/create-previewreturns the config and its version
Creation checks the config version the creator previewed, so the terms shown are the terms written in.
